Hello guys!! Today I make a cake with full of chocolate. I learnt this recipe from my brother because he loves chocolates and dark chocolate. He makes this cake for his usual taste & he surprised me with this recipe because it takes very less time. You could make this cake for any occasions.
Chocolate Truffle Cake is really loved by everyone even I really do too. When I was craving for chocolate truffle cake so I follow this recipe with step by step. I covered this cake fully with rich chocolate & the filling of chocolate ganche is too good.
This is a fresh tasting festive cake. It is great for a special celebration. I make it without egg & it is two layers cake. The toppings made this very wonderful & attractive I topped with some cherries and crushed chocolate on to this cake. You can decorate it as per your choice. This recipe is needed only two steps first is batter and another is toppings. Let's start with step by step.
Ingredients :
Batter
- 1/4 cup oil
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup curd (at room temperature)
- 3/4 cup flour
- 2 tsp cocoa powder
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch salt
- 1 tsp coffee powder
- 1 tsp vanilla essence
- 1 cup warm milk
Toppings :
- 1/4 cup cream
- 3/4 cup dark chocolate
- 2 tsp powdered sugar
- 1 tsp black coffee
- Some roatsed almonds (as per your desire)
- Chocolates & chocochips
Method :
Batter
- Grease 4 inch cake tin with oil set butter paper to the bottom & dust some cocoa powder.
- To make chocolate sponge take 1/4 cup oil in a bowl add 1/2 cup powdered sugar whisk until the sugar mix add 1/2 cup huge curd mix until it became creamy.
- Filter 3/4 cup flour & 2 tsp cocoa powder, 1 pinch salt, 1 tsp of instant coffee powder, add 1/4 tsp baking soda & 1/2 tsp baking powder seeve everything into the wet ingredients add 1 tsp of vanilla essence combine everything slowly. Now check the consistency and add some warm milk accordingly to the batter.
- Transfer the batter into caketin and spread it evenly. Bake it for 30-35 mins at 180 degree Celsius.
- when the cake is baked completely take out and remove the cake from cake tin & let it cool down.
Toppings
- To make chocolate ganache pour 1/4 cup of fresh cream in a bowl & microwave for 20 sec. To the hot cream add 3/4 cup of Dark Chocolate mix it until their is no chunks of chocolate left. You can microwave it for 10 sec. Refrigerate it for 2 hours.
- Divide your baked cake into 2 layers. Whip the ganache for 3 mins on medium speed to make it light.
- Make some black coffee add 2 tsp of powder sugar & 1 tsp of black coffee.
- place first layer of baked cake & sprinkle black coffee syrup & put chocolate ganache spread it evenly put some roasted almonds & chocochips randomly and spread it than top it with second layer and repeat this process cover the top and entire cake. Refrigerate it for 30 mins. Now decorate your cake with roasted almonds, chocolate, chocochips and gold sprinkles of different sizes.
